Mariel Hemingway is the loveliest human being I have ever seen. She was nominated for an oscar for her performance as Tracy in Manhattan. The category was "Person who most likely seems like when they spoke roses would fall out of their mouth." Joke. For some reason I think that when someone is especially lovely I get the image of roses and diamonds and shells and other lovely things spilling from their mouth as they speak, I think its because when I was a kid a teacher told us a fable about that. I think my favorite line in this movie was when Isaac confronts Yale about his affair with Mary asking if he plans to "run away with the winner of the Zelda Fitzgerald emotional maturity award".
